URBANGYM™ is a client we developed a relationship with during the summer of 2009. TUG™ Freestyle Resistance Trainers™ are a portable training system developed by URBANGYM™. You can train outdoors, on business trips, at home, at the park, or during your bike ride or run. If you are an “On the Go” person, this offers you a convenient workout.
The Challenge
UrbanGym came to us with a need to launch their site quickly as they had already set the deadline and announced their full company launch to an eager potential customer base. URBANGYM™ have been promoting themselves in advance of their launch via Facebook (where they already have over 4,500 fans) and their own YouTube channel. They have also been actively promoting their new concept product to the professional fitness trainers and instructors.
The Solution
We quickly got to grips with the biggest issue which was the web site. A content managed solution was required by the client to be able to manage the business predominantly online. An effective and easy to use ecommerce system was also required. We designed and built the first section of the web site quickly to allow the client to start to input their content into the website without having a panic at the last minute. Whilst the client did their bit we then created the ecommerce part of the web site. The whole site was built using Drupal.
We have also designed the artwork for the user manuals and DVD packaging.
Results
URBANGYM™ have taken 100s of pre-orders for their TUG product through the marketing work done - watch this space for an update of sales figures post launch!
