Inventures case study

Content Managed Website Design

Inventures previously operated within the Department of Health and NHS; they have been providing healthcare consultancy business services for nearly 20 years. Now fully established in the private sector, they combine internal public healthcare knowledge, understanding and values with a private sector perspective.

The Challenge

Inventures invited us to pitch for the redesign of their website. It was a three way pitch with two of us from Bristol and the third a London agency. Getting to grips with a changing market and new financial challenges facing the NHS, Inventures needed to portray a new image of a larger sleeker organisation and show that they were reacting to the times. They also saw the need to create a website that was aligned to clients’ needs.

The Solution

We created a new website design during the pitch process which was then developed after we were appointed. We worked closely with Inventures to an extremely tight deadline. The new site was launched just in time for them to enter a large tender process themselves - for which the website was thought to play a crucial role in backing up their position.

The site was built using the Drupal CMS and since launch we have gone on to add more functionality. The website is now a growing business tool for Inventures rather than just an online brochure.
